Mammals
Large and small; there are hundreds of mammals roaming around here; from Pipistrelle and Daubenton's bats to occasional visits from Highland ponies.

Red Squirrels
One of the most popular animals in Strathmashie is the Red Squirrel. Using the “squirrel cam” by one of our squirrel feeders we have footage of at least two, who we have christened Cyril and Hazel.
We work closely with Juliet Robinson, Red Squirrel Conservation Officer for the Forestry Commission Scotland on observing the tiny creatures and educating children and adults alike about them.
