Tree-planting

Youngsters (camouflaged!) planting seedlingYoungsters (camouflaged!) planting seedlings

Working together with the Forestry Commission Scotland , Laggan Forest Trust runs an on-going programme of tree-planting. Strathmashie operates as a commercial forest, but we plant at least one tree for every one felled.

We aim to encourage the growth of native Scottish species such as Silver Birch, and Scots Pine, and would welcome your involvement in this effort. Please keep an eye on our Events page to see when organised plantings will be happening.
